SVG support for Firefox

Quite a while ago the Adobe SVG plugin has stopped working for newer releases for mozilla and firefox. Adobe was using some functionality that was not part of the plugin interface. As it was not part of any contract, the functionality has been removed. So either you ended up using an old browser version or you had to go for the SVG branch of mozilla/firebox. Unfortunately there are still only mozilla builds available. Actually I think it would be great to have SVG support included by default. Hope it’s coming along soon. For now you have to use the beta version of the Adobe SVG plugin.

For windows:
The viewer installs into the “Shared Files/Adobe” folder under “Programs”. Copy the “NPSVG6.dll” into your firefox plugins folder and restart the browser.
