KISS me, baby

While going through lots of old boxes at my parent’s house this weekend I finally found my hardware reference manual. Still wondering where my joysticks are though :-/

Feeling the itch

For a long time I have been feeling the itch to merge the esql logicsheet and the SQLTransformer into a single codebase. Recently there has been some activity [1] [2] [3] [4] around the SQLTransformer. The itch is getting worse :-)

The timewarp feeling

I never thought I would do so much modem and serial port programming ever again. But for my current project I am developing an API to hide all the complexity of the GSM/GPRS modem handling. Reminds me on the old days. …will I still be programming modem software in 5 years from now? I hope not :-)

As you like it

Yesterday night I’ve been to the theater. The ensemble of the Junge Theater performed “As You Like It” from Shakespeare. This was definitely not a peace of cake to follow! Besides it was Shakespeare the staging was very confusing. And it took 160 minutes! Anyway, at least I was in nice company :-)

Totally retro

Lately I stumbled over a site where I found all the old AMIGA game classics. Motivated by nostalgic feelings I installed the AMIGA emulator from Toni Wilen. Too bad it still has problems with the last Trackmo (Rampage by TEK) that I was involved in :-( Seems like we have coded some really nasty stuff ;-)And even worse: I wanted to build myself a converter to use my old Competition Pro AMIGA joystick on the emulator – but I can’t find it anymore :-(
