I was ROTFL when I read this. But assuming this is all true it says a lot about how important recreation is for your work. Well, on the first moment the project manager might hate it but that’s how you get the creativity back into the project ;-)

Yesterday night we had the “Night Of the Clubs” in Göttingen. Lots of bands in lots of clubs. One band from Köln was called cocoon. Of course I had to check them out ;-) They were really good. Heavily influenced by Tool. If they only had better singer. But it’s hard to be compared to Maynard.

I thought if a certain route is not reachable a router would take a different route to make the packages find their way. Unfortunately verio.net has a broken router and I don’t get a single package to or from e.g. the apache servers :-( I feel cut off. I asked the dtag why they don’t setup a different route and they said “because of contracts”. Bummmer! Now I have to sit and wait…

I finally ordered a new laptop. Can’t wait to get it :-P
